Ken loves life in Prince George. Everything you may need or want is close by and you don't need to travel for miles to find exactly what you are looking for. Ken points out that the people in Prince George are friendly and he loves the sense of camaraderie felt in the downtown core of the city. Ken and Norma chose Prince George as the perfect place to raise their children. "I wanted my children to be brought up in a smaller community," said Ken.
Ken started Prince George Sewing Centre with his wife Norma in 1971 as a way to support their family. They have enjoyed owning and operating their own business over the years and value their regular loyal customer base. "I love doing business in downtown PG because I can get to know customers on a personal level," said Ken.
Ken has noticed more businesses opening up downtown in recent years and welcomes these additions. Ken and Norma appreciate the other local businesses downtown and admit one of their favourites is Northern Hardware.
