Meet Dr. Kristian G. Malpass

Meet Dr. Kristian G. Malpass

Dr. Kristian Malpass grew up in a small town in the Kootenays. After graduating from medical school, he was drawn to Prince George's character. It was similar in many ways to other small towns in BC, but unique in that it had so much to offer in the way of services and amenities. He also saw it as a place of opportunity with a need for the kinds of medical services he was trained to provide. He opened Vitality Plastic Surgery, Laser and Skin Care in 2005. Today, Dr Malpass’ patients come not only from Prince George but from communities throughout the north. In addition to his private practice, Dr Malpass also provides care to many MSP patients as well as reconstructive and trauma services through Northern Health at UHNBC, and offers instruction to UBC medical students through the Northern Medical Program.

Another aspect of Prince George life that appealed to Dr. Malpass was its location and proximity to nature and the surrounding forests. Dr. Malpass leads a very active lifestyle and enjoys engaging in outdoor activities like cycling (including an annual ride to raise funds for MS research) and downhill and cross-country skiing.

Kristian acknowledges that his practice is a group effort that would not be possible without his dependable and highly professional staff. He is proud not just of their hard work and discipline but also of their commitment to excellence in the services and education they provide to the clinic's patients and their continual efforts to develop ongoing relationships with patients.
